Job Overview/SummaryThe Clorox Company's Professional Products Division (PPD) is seeking a Zone Sales Manager to lead the division’s sales efforts with key regional distributor customers of the Public Health Geographic Team. The Zone Sales Manager is also the primary PPD owner of our regional broker business partners. In this role, you are responsible for volume and sales execution at regional Distributors and Brokers across all professional verticals within assigned geography. The role reports to the Team Leader, PPD Geographic Public Health.

The role is based in Southern California.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the Business: Deliver PPD Financial Targets

  • Lead the overall sales execution with regional distribution partners in the geography, ensuring consistency with the PPD field sales business plan and local geographic team plan, and driving PPD Public Health volume and overall sales goals and targets.
  • Drive overall regional broker sales activities and execution against the plans and priorities.
  • Partner with Public Health National Account Team counterparts, as well as White Space and Out-of-Home team as appropriate, to leverage and execute against national scoping customers, plans, and programs in the geography.
  • Ensure effective executional coordination between Geographic team sellers and broker and distributor partners in order to maximize coverage and avoid duplicative efforts.

Business and Customer Planning

  • Engage in Team business planning process with overall ownership of translation into executable broker and distributor plans and priorities.
  • Lead Business planning process with Brokers and Distributors. Ensure complete and accurate promotion plans that drive end user sales in geography and achieve results within trade spending budget.
  • Own marketing / trade funds and Forge responsibilities.
  • Drive the planning and execution of distributor targeting activities to be supported by the brokers, National Account Managers, and Region Sales Managers as appropriate.
  • Provide input and strategic influence into the Go-to-Market team as it relates to plan development and execution needs of the field sales organization.
