Manufacturing Yarn Clerk / Forklift Operative (12 hr)

SUMMARY:


Responsible for pulling all necessary yarns requested by knitting personnel to ensure that the floor runs efficiently with minimal down time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures that complete lots are used up before opening new case
  • Ensures that smallest and oldest cases are used first
  • Communicates yarn issues with Knitting Supervisors
  • Responsible for stocking floor with necessary yarn
  • Helps with monthly inventory
  • Adhere to company policies, including attendance and punctuality
  • Communicate with co-workers, management and others in a courteous and professional manner;
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
  • Other duties assigned by management are a part of this job description.
