Job Description
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in health and safety program management
- History of successfully managing multiple projects of increasing complexity
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience delivering results in a fast-paced, goal-driven, and ambiguous environment
- Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to foresee risks and proactively develop plans
- Ability to define project plan and work backwards to execute the plan
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
The successful candidate will be an experienced public health professional, with a track record of developing and executing scalable programs that improve well-being and promote healthy behaviors. This will require cross-team coordination, strong project management skills, and excellent communication. To be effective in this role, the candidate will effectively multitask and prioritize, utilize data to drive decisions, and maintain a high level of independence. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous work environment as we constantly grow, improve and innovate.
In this position, you will work across teams to earn trust, gain buy-in and develop and execute to a plan. The Field Program Manager will partner with various teams including site WHS and Operations teams, WorkingWell Program team, and other stakeholders across Amazon business units.
WorkingWell Field PM Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide relevant and scalable education and training opportunities to Amazonians based on top health risks
- Partner with various teams across to leverage WorkingWell as a central hub for promotion of health promotion initiatives
- Deep dive existing resources and conduct a gap analysis to identify opportunities for Training and Conditioning to further support employee health
- Define key performance indicators for new program components and track to performance goals
- Partner with peers who regularly work with sites to understand customer needs
- Continuously improve program components and mechanisms to drive results and provide superior customer experience
- MPH (including specialization in fields like Community Health Promotion or Public Health Administration & Policy)
- Experience working effectively in a large, complex organization
- In-depth knowledge and practical skills in applying Lean Six Sigma philosophy and methodology
- Exceptional analytical skills; experience establishing and tracking program metrics
- Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP)
