Job Summary

In this high impact role, you will support ABM’s Workforce Management (WFM) initiative project and program management needs. Playing a direct role in coordinating the design, development and deployment of the processes and technology required for WFM, including time & attendance, forecasting, and scheduling capabilities. The ideal candidate for this role combines experience managing a portfolio of interrelated workforce management projects, strong business acumen and technical knowledge.

This position presents an opportunity to play a key role in supporting one of ABM’s most transformative efforts to enable efficiency with a massive, highly distributed workforce across thousands of locations.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Builds relationships and works closely with ABM department stakeholders, consultants and WFM vendors
  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring WFM initiative goals are reached
  • Develop, manage and report out on WFM initiative project plans
  • Work closely with ABM leadership sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources/bandwidth, budget, and timing for current and future initiative projects
  • Accountable for delivering against established initiative goals/objectives
  • Work with other project and program managers to identify risks and opportunities across initiative projects
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome initiative risks, and produce status reports for leadership and other stakeholders
  • Partner closely with other ABM department stakeholders on collateral processes and systems
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as determined in the future



Job Requirements:


Education, Required Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in technology or business. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years progressively responsible related experience is preferred with the ideal candidate having past WFM project and program management experience
  • Experience deploying enterprise scale WFM solutions desired, ex: UKG (formerly Kronos and Ultimate Software), Infor, Workforce Software, Ceridian, etc.
  • Experience with supporting the deployment mobile based solutions for field leaders and large scale (50,000+) highly distributed front-line employees
  • Experience with project and program management of process automation, enterprise systems integrations, data/workflow process design, systems migrations, employee attribute standardization and simplification is desired
  • Experience working with Payroll, Finance, Legal, HR and other administration partners
