Job Summary: Seeking motivated and dedicated individual to assist with oversight of workers’ compensation program. Ideal candidate will have Bachelor’s degree with consistent track record in workers’ compensation. Experience can be in area of claims adjusting, nurse case management or oversight of employer work comp programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the oversight of medical only claims, establishing internal claim folder, outreach to supervisors, employees and seeing the claim to closure
- Interacts with adjuster, employee, supervisor, and resort leadership to ensure safe and efficient employee return to work in compliance with VR policy
- Assists in the development and implementation of workers’ compensation initiatives and programs to reduce administrative fees and ensure compliance with state statutes
- Prepares, analyzes and distributes data related to workers compensation practices to improve performance of program
- Acts as liaison for injured employee
- Communicates with adjuster, internal work comp team, and resort based leaders to advocate for injured-workers’ needs
- coordinates use of internal and external resources
- Supports work comp manager with state reporting & claim reviews
- Able and willing to tackle additional tasks & responsibilities as program continues to evolve and expand
Job Requirements:
- BA or BS Degree
- Digital Literacy: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel
- Customer oriented, strong teammate, strong communication skills, and reliable
Travel up to 10%. Available for On-Call telephonic support up to 30% of weekends/year.
The budgeted range starts at $20.00 - $26.20. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
