In support of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Workday Business Analyst to provide ongoing support and enhancements. The Workday Business Analyst will support HR and Finance modules and related functionality. The Workday Business Analyst will collect requirements, perform analysis, and communicate information appropriately to the Workday business units, which may include external Workday consultants. This position will also assist in system testing, report development and assist in the training of end users.
WHAT’S YOUR IMPACT?
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs/requirements.
- Participate as a team member to achieve successful support and enhancements of Workday HR/Payroll and Finance.
- Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to optimize business processes (particularly workflow/security), implement new functionality, and actively participate in major projects as needed.
- Work with internal teams and with Workday consultants to properly configure Workday.
- Establish plans for ongoing enhancements and support of the Workday platform as a whole.
- Monitor the Workday functional ticketing queue and provide troubleshooting support for functional and technical production issues, for all Workday users.
- Assist with the day to day operational needs of the Workday environment including user management, role changes, data changes and analysis as needed.
- Develop and modify reports, analytics, metrics and dashboards for management and functional Workday users.
- Assist in managing and testing Workday major releases, identifying impact and enhancement opportunities associated with a new release, and communicating appropriately to the various business unit leads.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the various integrations to outside systems that are in production.
- Work with the various business units to prepare and upload Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) for mass data entry.
- Actively participate in Workday Community to identify any potential issues as well as identify any new solutions to existing issues.
- Work independently with great team spirit.
- Take full ownership of and accountability for assigned tasks and communicate status accurately to management and teams.
IS IT IN YOU?
- 2+ years of Workday configuration, including Core HR, Compensation, Absence, Performance, Benefits, Onboarding, Succession and Projects.
- Strong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, testing, documentation, etc.
- Demonstrated competency in documenting solutions for both technical and functional audiences.
- Experience with testing, including definition and execution of test plans and scenarios.
- If no Workday experience, strong experience in like modules of an HRIS system will be considered.
- Experience with Workday Financials, BIRT, PSA and Procurement a big plus.
- Experience/knowledge with any of the following, also a plus – Salesforce, Jitterbit, Dell Boomi, Smartsheet, JIRA, DocuSign.
