Overview:
Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Technician to work out of our Clarkston, GA warehouse to perform a variety of routine shipping, receiving, production, and housekeeping tasks. Travel to other markets may be required for delivery/pick up of materials. Basic computer skills required. Experience within the warehousing/inventory environment preferred. Forklift experience preferred. Valid Drivers licensed required. MC/CDL a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment
- Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received
- Inspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects
- Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading material and equipment
- Stock shelves in the warehouse
- Pull spools/materials and distribute them to their designated area
- Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements
- Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices
- Label and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices
- Provide accurate reporting on receipt of materials and distribution of purchased items
- Must be able to demonstrate positive and effective verbal and written communications skills
- Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations and policies
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc. in the accomplishments of Ansco’s goals
Qualifications:
- Basic computer and mathematical skills required.
- Experience within the warehousing/inventory environment preferred.
- Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing up to 50 to 100 pounds 75% of the time
- Must be able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects with variable heights
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Valid Drivers licensed required. MC/CDL a plus.
