Job Description
BAE Systems seeks a senior level experienced Microsoft Windows Desktop Engineer to perform applications packaging and operating system deployments of MS Windows 10, Office 365 ProPlus, MS Server 2016, 2019 and related third party applications.
Program/Position Background:
Our customer is responsible for providing administrative, technical and legal support to all 94 offices located in over 200 geographically dispersed sites throughout the continental United States, Alaska, Guam, the Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Each of the offices contain one or more offices that vary in size from 2 to 800 users. Within each district, one site is designated the District Headquarters (HQ) site and the remaining sites are designated Branch (BR) offices. The Office Automation Support (OAS) division for the customer utilizes the General Integration (GI) technical team to provide information technology technical solutions support with systems and network engineering, project coordination, scheduling, backup/recovery, storage, technical writing/editing, and Tier 3 level support following a defined system development lifecycle (SDLC), along with ITIL, PMI, and CMMI-based requirements, change, project, and release management processes and procedures.

Position Summary
- Designs, tests, integrates, upgrades, and supports Microsoft Windows Desktop applications and package engineering of MS Windows 10, Office 365 ProPlus, and MS Server 2016 & 2019 (and related third party applications).
- Manages windows 10 images and applications using SCCM
- Selected incumbent will participate in the creation and ongoing maintenance of Architecture & Design documentation ensuring that clear, concise and accurate information is readily available.
- Creates and utilizes test plans and test cases, as well as document and test technical and information bulletins.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 8-10 years of related exprerience
- Capabilities in providing technical desktop engineering practices, recommendations, advice, and enhancements from integration engagements of prior successful image/systems integrations.
- Highly effective writing/verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work independently with minor guidance.
- Ability to acquire an EOUSA Public Trust-Level 6 EOD Waiver as a result of an SF85P+PS investigation).
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- MS Windows scripting (PowerShell, VB) in addition to understanding of SMS/SCCM package deployment
- Knowledge of Active Directory Security Groups, OUs, DNS, and GPO management
- VB and/or VBA coding experience
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs for Windows operating systems
- Operating System Deployment
- VMware and/or VDI/Citrix experience
- Knowledge of PKI
- Adjudicated and active Public Trust Level 6 or Top Secret clearance
