For over 2 decades, The Blind, Shade & Shutter Co has been servicing a luxury clientele and delivering exceptional shades & draperies with automated solutions.The Blind, Shade & Shutter Co is the “go-to” in Loudoun/Fairfax area for Designers looking to share their expertise, grow their skills, and have their hand in designing some of the most stunning and unique residential spaces they will see in their career. We are looking for 2 new salespeople to add to our Design Team.

What YOU bring to the table:

• You are that hyper organized “on-the-go” person, going on 3+ appointments a day between installs, follow up calls, new appointments, seeing old friends, popping by a networking group, all because you love being active and want to fit it all in!
• You are one of a kind, and always have been – from your smooth influencing skills & creative big picture design ideas to having laser precision when writing up paperwork like an architect’s detailed rendering.
• You’ve always had a knack for numbers; so much so- your party trick can be to demonstrate how fast you can use your “brain” calculator.
• You see driving as an added value to serving your customer on a personal level vs. an extra expense that is constantly nagging at you.
• You are a master of questions, and can put a client at ease vs. interrogating them. But you believe without all of the answers, there can’t be a solution.

What WE help you with:

• You will have the support of an office manager and a full staff of installers to turn around your jobs quickly – all you need to do is take care of and identify the customer’s window covering needs, sell them their ideal solution, write up the paperwork, and provide VIP services to your clients.
• A scheduling team to keep a constant flow of opportunities coming in, and keeping you out the door networking and creating new accounts.
• We support you with an iPad, samples & email/online vendor logins to quote and sell in the home, and vacation to find your work-life balance.

What you can accomplish with us:

• After an intensive training program – with or without industry experience, you’ll be ready to jump in the field and be up and running just after 30 days!
• Your ability to specialize in the Window Covering trade – making you an invaluable expert in the design industry
• Growing your sales year over year with commissions, month over month with ongoing coaching, admin support, and proven systems that deliver fast and steady results.
