Will Call/Day Shift Yard Worker

Valley Iron is looking for customer service oriented individual to join the Day Shift Will Call Department.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong mathematical skills
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to Learn
• Excellent communication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills is a must
• Organizational skills.
• Excellent knowledge of carbon, stainless and aluminum products
• Chop saw and torch cutting experience
• Able to work in changing work environment on a daily basis
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Forklift/Crane operation

Responsibilities:

• Fill order from sales team or from walk-in customer.
• Fill customer order as requested in a safely manner.
• Communicate with the customer at all times
• Pull stock as needed
• Rotate jobs frequently
• Take all call-in orders in a timely manner. Handle customers that come to pick up material, wrap stage and file tags.
• Communicate with customer/sales team/supervisor at all times
• Be assertive with customers at all times.
• Handle customers that come to pick up material, wrap stage and file tags

• All other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.50 per hour

• Oroville, CA 95966: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
