Essential Functions:
As a valued member of the PrimeFlight team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining motorized and non-motorized Aircraft Refueling & Aircraft Ground Service Equipment. In this position you will provide prompt and efficient service by performing the following duties:
- Observe and follow all safety policies and procedures in compliance with the organizational rules and guidelines.
- Read, interpret, and adhere to engineering diagrams, sketches, and blueprints.
- Layout, position, align, and fit components together to meet engineering documents.
- Log equipment numbers to be repaired with a description of work to be done on each piece.
- Cut, grind, and weld mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum utilizing MIG and/or TIG methods.
- Pressure test and repair vessels and piping.
- Straighten and repair or cut out and replace damaged body panels.
- Inspect work to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Diagnose problems using test equipment and applicable manuals.
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
- Completed associated paperwork and track parts.
- Safely handle and transfer fuel between equipment.
- Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at the job location.
- Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
- Carry out other duties as assigned.

General Qualifications:
- 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation
- Eligible to work in the United States
Education/Experience:
2-3 years of experience preferred
Mathematical Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, supervisor, as well as other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Computer Skills:
Basic knowledge of Excel and Word applications.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid State Driver’s License with a verifiable safe vehicle operating record. Some states require a State’s Mechanic license.
