Welder Fabricator Temp

This position will work as a member of the Cryogenics Accessories team in support of our fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing operations. The key focus is GTAW Welding of Stainless Steel to the ASME standard.

The position responsibilities, more specifically, include:

Gathering materials per work order
Visual Inspection of piece parts
Training and Qualification in the following:
Quality Plan Review
Weld Fixture use
Welding position
Component identification
Assembly drawing review

The position will be located in Chelmsford, MA and will report to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience
• Must possess Basic GTAW skills
• TIG welding experience
• Orbital Welding experience
• Welding Lathe experience
• MFG Standard 180 experience
• Weld Joint Cleaning experience
• Tungsten Grinding experience
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Must be comfortable using computer
• Must have experience with 5S, lean manufacturing
• Experience with Oracle ERP is a plus
• Experience reading assembly drawings
• Ability to perform physical functions
• Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs
• Detail oriented with good basic math skills
• Willingness to learn and follow directions
• Operator must be certified to ASME standard or be trained by an ASME certified welder with an expectation of certification within a reasonable time period
