Weekend Nursing Supervisor - LPN/RN

Join our team as a Weekend Nursing Supervisor at Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. This position is scheduled from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday.

SCOPE OF POSITION:
Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing personnel on all units during the assigned shift while ensuring consistent quality care is provided to all residents at all times. Follows and promotes all facility policies, procedures and standards directing nursing department activities.

• Contacts physicians/ARNP to address acute medical issues.
• When the Unit Manager is not available the Supervisor will make rounds with the physician and follow up with new orders; transcribe, fax to pharmacy and set up labs, etc.
• Makes emergency decisions.
• Makes rounds on assigned units to monitor staff performance and resident care.
• Covers unit as Charge Nurse as needed.
• Responsible for admission orders and ensuring all admission paperwork and assessments are completed, including but not limited to physician orders, assessments, CPR/DNR, immunization information, consents, MD delegation, etc.

• State of New Hampshire LPN; RN License Preferred.
• IV Certified or willing to become IV Certified within six (6) months in the position.
• Minimum of three (3) years full-time or equivalent experience in Long Term/Acute Care setting with a minimum of two (2) years in a management, supervisory or administrative capacity.
• CPR Certified.

SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $1.75 - First Shift, $2.50 - Second Shift, Weekend $2.00
STATUS/SHIFT: Part-time 7am – 7pm, Saturday and Sunday, 24 hours per weekend
