Firefly is looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for frontend coding, innovative design, and e-commerce database creation and integration to our new website. The developer’s responsibilities will include working with our current team as the frontend developer, our sales team, and our software development engineers to help our consulting team with new website concept all the way through completion.

Responsibilities

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Create and maintain software documentation.
• Build and maintain e-Commerce sites.
• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
• Cooperate with our teams to match visual design intent.
• Collect customer data and analyze interactions and visits, plus use this information to create comprehensive reports.

Skills

• Proven working experience in web service technologies.
• Experience with web analytics tools.
• Experience with Adobe PRO.
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Net Insight, Omniture, Web Trends)
• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks, React, Angular JS, Vue
• Proficiency in development Languages including, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, API (REST & GRAPHQL), and Database and Cache.
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, and web application development.
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
• BS in computer science or a related field
• Analysis, Technology Skills, Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Attention to Detail, Self-Motivated, Creative Problem-Solving Skills, Experience with Major Social Media Platforms.
