Lindsay Corporation is looking for an experienced Wave Solder Operator to join the Olathe, KS production team in our Thru-Hole Department. The Wave Solder Operator is responsible for running the wave solder machine and performing light maintenance on the machine. The Wave Solder Operator will also perform basic assembly duties such as stuffing boards in preparation for wave solder. Elecsys offers a great work environment and 9/80 work schedule. If you would enjoy every other Friday off this may be the job for you. This position is eligible for a $1,000.00 sign on bonus.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic light Through-hole PCB assembly duties
  • Wave solder operation and some machine maintenance
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures and be detail oriented
  • Must be able to perform repetitive movements and stand for lengths of time
  • Responsible for good housekeeping and safety practices in the work area
  • Perform designated work assignments and assist fellow employees as necessary
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience operating and maintaining a wave solder machine
  • 1+ years’ experience in electronic PCB production preferred
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and acceptable solder joint criteria
  • Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company’s Quality System
