Warehouse Technician

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for acting as the primary resource for warehouse maintenance and upkeep, assisting in shipping/receiving of product, and tracking inventory to ensure acceptable quantity levels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain working knowledge of (i) current HME products and services offered by the Branch, and (ii) all applicable governmental regulations.
• Provide education to Delivery Technicians and customers on equipment use.
• Assist Supervisor by ordering products from vendors when needed
• Assist with building maintenance such as shoveling snow, fixing desks, moving office furniture.
• Process all orders being shipped out of warehouse in a timely, accurate manner
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and simple repairs on equipment as required in accordance with company policies.
• Assists in cleaning and checking equipment as needed.
• Assist the Delivery Technicians by gathering needed product for the day's delivery and loading vehicles as needed.
• Assemble equipment as needed.
• Inventory maintenance: track product replenishment and notify management when quantity is low so it may be ordered.

Requirements:

• Posses high school diploma.
• Ability to lift heavy items on a consistent basis.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience with home medical equipment preferred.

Work Schedule:

M-F 7:30am - 4:00PM
