Warehouse Supervisor
Site: West Point, Georgia
Position: Full Time / Some Weekends

Brief Description: We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate with daily warehouse activities. You will implement productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume with time limits.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations.
Some of the Responsibilities/Job Duties are as follows:
- Attendance received reviewed daily sent to Manager.
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring the quality of goods.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and the employee’s performance.
- Knowing all work standard to ensure that associates are correctly performing in their positions assigned.
- Assisting the site Manager with updating the SOP/SWIS if the change is required.
- Reporting downtime to the site manager in the form of verbal and via email.
- Organize and Maintain inventory and storage areas.
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy.
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
- Controlling and monitoring break and lunch schedules.
- Determine staffing levels and assign workload
- Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems.
- Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.
- Daily reports and end of shift pass over report.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a warehouse Supervisor.
- Highly effective Supervisor skills and techniques.
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
- Ability to input retrieve and analyze data
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Operation Management Skills:
- Ability to manage inventory, including auditing, forecasting and planning.
- Implementing & maintaining safety initiatives.
- Operates forklift in compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Knowledge of logistics (carriers, shipping policies & procedures)
- Knowledge of DOT rules & regulations.
- Knowledge of inventory/warehouse management software
- Knowledge of distribution software
