We now distribute over 40,000 items (cosmetics, toys, school supplies, hosiery, hair accessories, OTC, HBA and more) through 4 regional warehouse locations in Arkansas, New Jersey, Nevada and California. We have openings across multiple departments.

Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 Bonus equates to an additional $4.00 an hour for the first 90 Days

Referral Bonus: $1000 after referral is hired and completes 90 Days of employment

Shift: Day Shift, Full-Time, Part Time

Job Summary

The Put-Away Associate is responsible receiving and unpacking shipments of product, verifying merchandise received against the order slip and stocking inventory for replenishment purposes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the warehouse
• Verify inventory by comparing them to the shipping label and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse shelves.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Dispose of damaged or defective items, or return them to vendors.
• Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock.
• Fill bin locations
• Conduct in moves using RF Gun
• Random checking of bin quantities

Supervision:

This position is frequently supervised by the Receiving Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Experience in the Receiving Department

Skills Required:

• Safety
• Basic Math Skills
• Time management
• Willingness to learn computerized scanning device

Physical Demands:

This position requires standing and light lifting (up to 50 pounds) for 80% of the day and stooping and heavy lifting for 20% of the day.
