Job Description
Job Summary

The position of warehouse laborer performs a variety of labor tasks related to general construction projects.

ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
  • Perform various labor tasks related to inventory management, loading and unloading materials, cleanliness, and material assembly.
  • Safely operate various hand tools, including cutting tools, knives, hammers, shovels, rakes, saws, and brooms.
  • Safely use ladders and fall protection and restraint systems.
  • Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Clean tools, equipment, materials, and the work area.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor.
  • Know company safety policies and adhere to them while working at all times.
  • Always properly use the appropriate PPE for intended use and application.
  • Perform inventory audits and maintain an online list of item counts.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Practical listening skills and ability to follow directions
  • Able to effectively use excel and word
  • Able to safely tow a trailer
  • Able to operate a forklift preferred but not required
  • Ability to effectively manage time and project deadlines
  • The ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously and in an accurate and timely manner
  • Behavior that supports a positive work environment keeping in line with company mission and values
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping, inventory control practices, and logistics
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver s license
  • Must have a truck or large vehicle able to tow a trailer.
  • Previous construction experience preferred but not required
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

  • The employee must be able to stand and/or walk at least eight hours per day. Constant time spent working on feet.
  • Occasional work above or below ground
  • The employee must be able to work and adapt to outside temperature fluctuations such as the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter months.
