Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Clerk / General Helper reports to the Director of Quality. The General Helper is responsible for warehouse inventory, facility maintenance/up-keep, deliveries and picking up material as needed. The General Helper may also be assigned other specific responsibilities, as required, to support the Quality and Shipping organization, while operating in compliance with company procedures and safety practices.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Shipping/Receiving & Warehouse

1- Inventory of Shipping Supplies (Keep inspection/shipping area stocked)

2- Safe operation of LP and Electric forklifts (Primary Forklift Operator)

3- Company Vehicle Maintenance

o Monitor need for Oil Changes

o Gas Fill-ups

o Van Cleanliness, Etc.

4- Deliveries to our customers and Pick-ups from our vendors

5- Pulling parts to provide to the inspectors

6- Returning material to stock and placing items in stock at completion of receiving inspection

o Stock Checks

o Consignments & Engine Teardowns

o Spec Repair or Purchase Orders

7- Dusting and Sweeping of Warehouse

8- Keeping material on shelves organized:

o repairing/replacing boxes and crates as necessary

o Ensuring that labels are properly/securely attached to material in stock

o Attaching inventory listings to boxes/crates by location

9- Other Task as may be assigned from time to time

Facility Maintenance

1- Responsible for Inside and Outside Facility Maintenance, as directed.

a. Pick up Office & Warehouse Trash

o Replace AC Filters

o Bug Spray – inside and out

o Loading Docks and Outside Area Clean-Up

o Cleaning and Restocking bathroom supplies

o Cleaning Floors and Windows

2- Other Task as may be assigned from time to time

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a warehouse and shipping environment.

2. Must be able to focus on key tasks, prioritize duties, and manage multiple tasks.

3. LP and Electric Forklift Certified (Preferred)

4. Computer Experience: Should be familiar with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.)

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to work in seated or standing positions for prolonged periods of time, perform warehouse, office and clerical duties including use of office tools.

Working Environment: The working environment is corporate office facility. Daily contact with employees in other departments is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
