A successful employee in this position must be hard-working, fit, and strong enough to lift boxes of products. A great Warehouse Clerk also possesses a positive attitude and excellent organizational skills.
Warehouse Clerk Responsibilities:
- Receive products and check that they are not damaged.
- Return any damaged products.
- Record all received items in the computer system.
- Pack items in a methodical way.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors.
Warehouse Clerk Requirements:
- A high school qualification or equivalent.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be helpful.
- Relative physical strength and stamina. (Must be able to lift up to 50lbs)
