Warehouse Associate - Wire Room

Turtle & Hughes is seeking a Warehouse Associate in the Wire Room who will be responsible for accurate shipping of product to meet company standards of accuracy, attention to details, sanitation, safety, security and productivity.
This position is available in Stoughton, MA. This is a Monday thru Friday, day shift position.
Essential Functions:

• Ability to identify different wire types
• Ability to spool the wire onto a reel
• Ability to measure and cut the wire at the correct length.
• Maintain all equipment in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, while complying with OSHA and company standards.
• Assist in inventory accuracy and cycle counts. Ensure proper stock rotation. Preform aisle assessments and assignments.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year warehouse experience (picking/packing), must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Experience wire cutting
• Experience with managing inventory
• Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and write legibly.
• Ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to be flexible
