Warehouse Associate

Job Description American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for a Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver in Billings, MT. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A with a HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the ability to obtain one.

Headquartered in Raleigh, NC, AWG operates 78 branch locations and 18 fill plants in 20 states Montana to Florida. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and quickly.
• Deliver gas and hard goods to customers.
• Operate forklift in a warehouse setting.
• Palletize and label overstock so that it may be handled properly.
• Tag all orders to ensure that the order goes to the proper location for shipping.
• Stock inbound merchandise.
• Release and verify validity of inbound purchase orders.
• Properly log and process inbound parcel shipments.
• Restock consumables and prepare for the next business day.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Ensure compliance with CGMP, Hazmat, OSHA, DOT and other regulatory agencies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
• Delivery experience a plus.
• Clean driving record 3+ years.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.
• Good customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be comfortable using computers.
