Job Description

Southeastern Laundry Equipment Sales is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our Altamonte Springs, FL office! Southeastern Laundry is a full-service distributor of industrial laundry equipment, offering solutions for coin laundry, on-premise laundry and multi-housing segments. Essential Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

·Daily shipping, receiving and organizing heavy equipment utilizing a forklift or pallet jack while adhering to appropriate safety precautions to guard from injuries to self or others and to prevent any damage to equipment.

·Daily organize/stage inventory and supplies for jobs by the week (i.e. Monday’s supplies at front, Friday’s at rear). This task includes having the proper machines and all necessary supplies ready for install crews or carrier and be able to handle installation supplies for installers.

·Prepare equipment for pick up and installation and put refurbished equipment on pallets.

·Perform inbound and outbound equipment scans for inventory and perform inventory count.

·Perform all duties as directed by the Operations Manager based on the needs of the business to ensure consistent grow. This is to include but not limited to installing card reader components for our route equipment, assisting in small chassis deliveries and or installs on an as needed basis or as company volume dictates (i.e., route and or rental equipment).

·Responsible for all warehouse and office maintenance to maintain an organized and clean warehouse and office. This would include but not limited to checking and replacing filters, light bulbs, daily kitchen trash removal, emptying recycling bins, keeping parking and bay areas clean and clear of any debris, putting together desks, clearing out offices, cleaning and minor repairs and ordering supplies as needed.

·Allocate serial numbers for the following weeks installs and reporting numbers to the Install Department via e-mail or fax by the deadline. Keep inventory in warehouse organized by machine model and ship out via FIFO method to rotate inventory properly.

·Prepare all bill of ladings in time for outgoing equipment by LTL or contract carriers and make sure all equipment is FULLY inspected for damage.

·Learn model numbers of all serialized equipment models in order to accurately pull and ship equipment.

·Possess the ability to remember where each item in the warehouse has been placed or stored.

·Work with the Equipment Coordinator team to maintain the proper levels of install supplies, including cords.

·Make sure LP containers are always at proper level and count.

·Utilize company vehicles (including rental trucks) as needed for disposal of equipment/pallets and/or for installation of equipment.

·Clean used equipment, as needed, to prepare them for resale.

·Other duties as assigned.

·Must be flexible and able to shift gears quickly/work in a fast-paced environment.

·Must be punctual and dependable. Hours are 730a-430p Monday - Friday.

·Attention to detail in every aspect of position, accuracy and possess good time management skills.

·Be a true team player and able to successfully work very closely with multiple departments.

·Be an excellent communicator with the desire for understanding and learning our business.

·Basic math and reasoning skills. Be able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code.

·Computer knowledge including but not limited to windows programs, Excel and Outlook.

·Ability to understand and execute instructions.

·General understanding of the warehouse.

·Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices if they are available to be used.

Qualifications:

·High school diploma or GED required.

·Warehouse and distribution experience preferred but not required.

·Must have forklift operator experience (forklift operator certification is preferred but not required).

·Must be able to successfully pass preemployment screenings including MVR check.

·Valid driver’s license.

·Must be able to read and write in the English language.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

·Able to move/lift up to 50lbs.

·Position spends 100% of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing.

·Position may require climbing of ladders.

·Specific vision abilities require by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

·Warehouse environment may be subjected to loud noises, temperature and weather extremes.
