Job Description
Job Summary:

The Warehouse Agent position coordinates the picking function of the warehouse, responding to communication from sales teams and ensuring the warehouse departments are operating on the correct information. A typical day as a Warehouse Agent consists of reviewing open orders from the sales teams, processing changes to orders, assigning pick priority, and communicating pick orders to the Warehouse team. The Warehouse Agent is also responsible to ensure that inventory is updated when product is customized for individual orders. Agents work closely with other warehouse employees to ensure products are received, stored, and shipped both safely and efficiently.


The Warehouse Agent reports to the Picking Supervisor and may report to the Knox or Ridge warehouse location depending on volume and business needs.

Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:


  • Query the warehouse management system (WMS) to generate and print pick tickets
  • Sort pick tickets by customer, delivery method and priority/urgency
  • Organize pick tickets for our pickers to retrieve and complete in order or priority/urgency
  • Cancel pick tickets upon request from the sales force
  • Provide replacement products to our configuration techs for defective items
  • Report receiving purchase order (PO) issues such as damages, shortages, overages or incorrect products to our vendors
  • Resolve requests from other departments, including:
    • Order modification
    • Order cancelation
    • Configuration staging requests
  • Return of products to inventory by physical retrieving the item and verifying stock levels, counts, and navigating the WMS
  • Troubleshoot WMS issues that prevent or delay the printing of pick tickets with developers and technical departments
  • Transfer inventory to and from configuration room or returns department upon request
Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree and 1 year in Warehouse experience or minimum 2 years warehouse/office combined experience
  • Must be able to communicate (verbal/written) in English
  • Ability to operate a computer and navigate in a Windows based platform

Unique Requirements:
  • Overtime and weekend work are available, and may be required throughout the year
  • Position requires the ability to move or lift up to 50lbs
