Job Description

The Vice President of Sales oversees daily sales activity, leads a sales team, meets with major clients, draws up sales reports, designs new and more effective sales strategies, and works to market and promote company products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Lead the residential sales team and category for the assigned region.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Partner with customers to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Increasing client base and revenue penetration with existing and new properties.
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
  • Writing business proposals.
  • Negotiating with stakeholders.
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position against competitors
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to legally drive and provide own transportation to various locations in organizational
