Project Manager responsible for supporting the CECL End-to-End Remediation Program within the CRO for Finance organization, partnering closely with overall Program Manager, CECL Implementation Lead and CECL Workstreams in Risk, Finance and Technology. Requires prior experience with leading cross-functional, regulatory-driven programs within Risk. Strong candidate would have the excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
Responsibilities:
- Support to Lead Program Manager, responsible for overall project administration including maintenance of project plan, ongoing project tracking, status reporting and communications with project team and senior management.
- Responsible for leading specific Workstream remediation, including contributing to development of remediation approach and plan, hosting recurring meetings, tracking deliverables and risks/issues, reporting on status.
- Coordinates with Technology where ongoing systemic enhancements to existing process are needed, aligned to annual tech investment process
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services or consulting industry highly preferred
- Knowledge and expertise in Program/Project Management across complex, multi-functional, regulatory driven programs.
- Prior experience in Risk, preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- PMP preferred but not required
Education:
- Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred but not required
