Broadridge is hiring! We are looking for a Senior Professional Software Engineer to join our Investor Communication Solutions organization. We are seeking a business-minded, technically oriented leader who has the energy, edge, and execution capability to drive our technology transformation. This role will define the technology blueprint for the future of our business and will be a catalyst for change, someone who is able to take cutting edge technology concepts and apply them to the problems of today.

Responsibilities may include:

• Independently lead design workshops and provide tradeoffs and recommendations for API specifications
• Help maintain and identify improvements to REST API standards
• Identify and assist fulfilling automation for the validation and approval of design specifications
• Provide mentorship and messaging around standards and best approach for the implementation of REST APIs
• Work with infrastructure engineers to ensure smooth deployments and balanced performance for the platform Skill -
• Deliver the projects with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices and its related tool sets (e.g. JIRA, GIT/BitBucket, Jenkins, Nexus, etc.)

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of development experience
• At least 1 year as a MuleSoft Architect
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft AnyPoint /Cloud Hub Integration tools; Microservices/API based on MuleSoft API Gateway – 2/3 years
• Understanding of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance
• Recent experience with at least one programming language (Java, C#, Python)
• AWS Cloud experience (AWS API Gateway, Lambda)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Experience with
• Crafting conceptual end to end integration work, technical specification documents and recommend high quality solutions for the MuleSoft runtime integration platform.
• Blended experience in API/Cloud Integration/On-premise MuleSoft runtime implementations
• Experience in defining technical reference architecture w.r.t MuleSoft runtime using existing SOA/ESB products.
• Experience in implementation of Microservices/API based on MuleSoft API Gateway
• Experience in, Messaging (JMS), Web API - SOAP, REST and authentication methods such as OAuth and SAML; REST APIs (as architect, designer or developer) ; have a good understanding of REST fundamentals -usage of nouns vs verbs, how to craft resources, data model
