Visual Communications Designer

As a visual communications designer at TokenTax, you will work closely with marketing and company leadership to bring our brand to life through brand design and illustration. You will have a large impact from Day 1, working on design for our corporate brand, website, blog, and social media.

We’re looking for someone with passion for making Web 3 more accessible for users. Successful designers at TokenTax will be able to work independently, adapt with agility to change, and voice the thinking behind their design choices.

This job is temp-to-perm, with full benefits beginning upon permanent hire after three-month review.

• Partner with writers to create visual narratives that bring blog and marketing content to life in both a compelling and easy to understand way.
• Expand and formalize our brand identity system, including design language and iconography
• Create flexible visual assets that can be used in a wide range of media, including social media posts and videos
• Establish visual and brand consistency across all communication platforms and channels

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience designing well-crafted, inspiring brands and creative visuals across various mediums
• A portfolio of your design work that showcases your design process, conceptual ability, and examples in communication design, illustration, and branding.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting requirements.
• Ability to deconstruct complicated ideas into compelling, easy-to-understand visuals and explain design rationale
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop
• Proficient in Figma, including FigJam
• Experience using Keynote, Google Slides, and PowerPoint.

• Experience and interest in blockchain technology
• Experience in or willingness to learn more about motion graphics and animation
