Job Summary The Care Center Learning and Development team supports the Bread Financial organization through training consultation and course facilitation for new hires and tenured associates. The CCLD works closely with the Instructional Design team, Compliance, Work Force Management, Talent Acquisition, Business Leaders and Operations Readiness to develop and facilitate engaging training solutions including functional training and training designed to boost performance and close identified learning gaps. The Virtual Training Specialist utilizes multiple virtual meeting and training platforms to produce engaging meetings and training sessions. This includes supporting Trainers and Senior Trainers during multi-week new hire training in the virtual environment, supporting post new hire virtual training sessions, virtual road shows and town halls. Job Description Essential Job Functions: Virtual Training Acumen, Content Development and Virtual Presentation: Utilizes virtual classroom technology and MS Office products to develop and, in some cases facilitate, engaging learning and meeting experiences. The Virtual Training Specialist works directly with Operations Leadership, Training Leadership, and Trainers to design the virtual classroom and meeting content, produce the virtual classroom or meeting room, and facilitate, when appropriate, engaging virtual classroom sessions utilizing virtual classroom software. This includes participating in the planning of the virtual learning events, developing the virtual classroom, executing the virtual training, and gathering feedback after each virtual session to identify and build upon opportunities identified. The Virtual Training Specialist supports virtual training for new hires, internal moves, system releases, skill enhancement, leadership education, and various workshops.
Post New Hire Training : Facilitates post new hire training sessions for Care Center Operations in the physical and virtual learning environment. This includes, but not limited to, brand partner training, system releases, new processes, up-skilling, re-skilling, and return from leaves.
Trainer Development: Provides coaching and feedback to Trainers based on classroom observations, call calibration activities and monitoring of Trainer performance. Serves as the catalyst for knowledge sharing with the team. Champions Trainer growth and development. Works with Training Leadership to identify knowledge, skills and ability gaps with Trainers and provide real-time solutions and action plans. This can include designing and implementing development plans for Trainers.
Collaboration and Communication: Works directly with Operations Leads, Supervisors, Managers, Directors, and VP to gain an understanding of the associates learning needs. Works directly with the instructional design team as subject matter experts to assist in developing self-paced and facilitator led training content. Works alongside department Supervisors to provide on the job observation and coaching for lower performing associates when not facilitating training. Works closely with project managers and project owners, attending project meetings when applicable, for new system or processes that will require facilitator led training.
Adult Learning: Incorporates a variety of training methods to accommodate adult learning styles in the classroom. Adjusts learning techniques based on the training environment, which includes both physical and virtual classroom. Collaborate and contribute to the review of training content and materials to ensure accuracy in the content and ensure appropriate learning principles are applied.
Training Acumen: Represents the Care Center Learning and Development team in projects and initiatives that require formal and informal associate training. Provides feedback, as necessary, to the project managers and works with team members from multiple teams within the organization to help effectively develop and execute the training required for the project.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Three years or more in Training, Supervision, Call Centers, Management, Leadership, or Facilitation
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Certification: Training and Development, Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources
- Call center experience, leading and conducting multi-week training classes with little supervision, classroom training and facilitation, Supervision
