Job Description

**This is a pipeline job requisition to attract interest for an upcoming position**

Position Summary:

The Virtual Sales Representative (VSR) will be responsible for achieving Corium sales forecasts by conducting virtual sales calls and providing support for the field sales team. The VSR will be expected to meet all annual sales objectives by identifying sales strategies aimed at maximizing sales results, as well as achieving identified objectives. The VSR will be expected to be an effective member of cross functional teams with applicable field personnel and internal stakeholders. The VSR will have an assigned region and will also support other areas when business needs arise. He/she will maintain a positive image of Corium and IQVIA, both internally and externally, and maintaining compliance with all policies that govern sales activity. All sales activities will take place virtually either via telephony platform and/or video-based platform.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales goals and objectives by effectively implementing marketing strategies and sales plan in assigned region and as defined by business needs
  • Analyze sales performance and adjust business plan and approach accordingly.
  • Executes plan and achieves metrics objectives.
  • Continuously self-assesses, identify and champions opportunities.
  • Maintain and update current and prospective target prescriber profiles and call records in CRM.
  • Keep current with market knowledge and competitive products
  • Maintain a professional image for Corium products
  • Successfully complete/participate in all required training and sales meetings
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize to meet sales and call targets
  • Conduct sales presentations; coordinate and participate in virtual lunch and learns and speaker programs as appropriate
  • Demonstrate mastery of selling skills with expertise in questioning and probing to better understand customer wants and needs
  • Demonstrate effective interactions with all IQVIA and Corium company personnel
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by management (i.e. managed care pull-through programs, customer support outside of designated territory, etc.)
  • Make complete, accurate and timely submission of all timekeeping, details, call activity, expense reports, and sample activity when applicable
  • Comply with governing corporate policies and SOPs, as well as applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, including compliance with promotional program, and proper use of promotional materials and promotional expense budgets

Education, Experience, & Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university required
  • Virtual or inside sales experience preferred
  • Following experience is a plus:

  • Ability to clearly articulate via phone in a professional and grammatically proficient manner, with the ability to adapt tone, volume, and pace to most effectively communicate
  • Proficient technical aptitude with computer technology, and devices (e.g. Microsoft Office, CRM experience, iPad, apps, etc.)
  • Must have a dedicated home office, free from noise and other disturbances
