Job Description

We are looking for a Videographer/Editor who possesses the ability to design and implement the company's digital media plans to achieve marketing goals and objectives. The primary goal of this position is to help showcase our products and other educational and industry content through video, with primary tasks being video editing. You’ll be responsible for creating cohesive video experiences for various forms of online content. You should also be able to assist with shooting, lighting, and audio if needed or shoot solo.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 9 AM- 6 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Partner with content teams in finalizing scripts needed for video shoots

· Prepares storyboards for videos based on finalized scripts

· Develop and edit the footage into cohesive videos that are engaging and serve the desired purpose

· Creating short videos under pressure and responding fast to marketing needs

· Captioning videos using captioning services and placing them into videos

· Assist with or set up equipment and lighting yourself for video shoots relating to marketing campaigns and product videos.

· Develop a working knowledge of our products and services to understand what to highlight in our videos when editing

· Strategize with the content team to create a plan for the creation of compelling content

Knowledge, Skills, and Education

  • Associate Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in professional video/audio recording and editing in the studio or in the field
  • Knowledgeable on proper lighting, sound, and video quality for corporate and social media videos
  • Expert in Adobe Premiere and other Adobe Creative Cloud products, DSLR cameras, and sound equipment (shotgun mics, lavalier mics)
  • Knowledgeable about Facebook Live, Wirecast, YouTube optimization a plus
  • Ability to tell a story with video
  • Funnel marketing experience a plus
  • Ability to create stellar marketing videos that convert
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Must be able to follow the precise direction
  • Ability to shoot and make proper editing decisions with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work quickly and produce high-quality videos with short turnaround times
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Experience with animations and motion graphics a strong plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
