Job Description
The Video Production Manager (VPM) will organize, plan and manage execution of all Comoto authentic commerce, educational and lifestyle video content. The primary responsibility of the VPM is to oversee management of Comoto’s e-commerce video production cycle.
This role will collaborate with the Brand, Content & Creative leadership team to manage Comoto studio operations, production cycles, and communication with Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Service, etc. The VPM will execute the vision and strategy set by the leadership team and Marketing department in regards to all product, original and customer service centric video content. The ability to grasp the big picture and make judgment calls on the smallest details is key to the balancing act this role requires.
Our Next Video Production Manager Will:
- Manage all studio operations, facilities and personnel — Production Coordinator, Camera Operator, On-camera talent, etc.
- Daily oversight of scheduling for multiple production cycles
- Cross-departmental collaboration, project management and relationship building
- Plan & organize pre-production and production materials for shoots

- Execution of Comoto communications strategy
- In-studio and field direction of video production team (including talent)
- Coordination & management of departmental meetings and projects
- Represent Comoto management with OEM and vendor contacts during field productions
Qualifications
Our Next Video Production Manager Has:
- Six years professional experience in video production execution and operations
- Three years professional experience managing personnel and directing on-camera talent
- Expert knowledge of video production workflow, studio facilities and post-production environments
- Expert verbal and written communications
- Keen attention to detail when producing high-volume video content
- Seasoned judgement to make calls on the fly and to know when issues need to be raised with management
- Knowledge & experience with ATV and/or UTV subject matter a plus
- Knowledge of photography a plus
