Responsibilities: The NCI Vice President Product Sales position will be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals for the NCI Empower Platform. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well working with current and potential clients to provide artificial intelligence solutions for the federal government missions.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Directs, plans, and implements effective product sales processes and strategies for optimum sales results.
  • Assists in developing revenue forecasts and sales plans and strategies for generating new business with existing customer sets to enhance company growth.
  • Utilizes industry expertise requiring in-depth knowledge of IT services, customers, and NCI Artificial Intelligence (AI) product offering to generate leads.
  • Applies industry expertise to assist in determining pricing schedule for quotes, promotions, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborates with marketing and product development teams to create product programs and campaigns.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly reports and interfaces with and supports sales administration, product development, marketing communications and research.
  • Develops and customizes sales presentations to a range of prospective clients at various levels of a client organization.
  • Continually learns and promotes understanding of NCI technology and AI product offerings as well as the customer’s larger program objectives.
  • Negotiates, prepares and submits sales contracts for orders.
  • Develops deep and meaningful client relationships to identify and evaluate needs in order to promote products and services.
  • Maintains detailed client records utilizing NCI’s customer relationship management software.
Qualifications:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
  • Ten to fifteen (10-15) years’ experience in sales, preferably product sales in the government market arena.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and success in the sales process and dynamics.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
  • Experience using computers and multiple applications for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft® applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as various collaboration tools.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced sales and work environment.
