Job Description
Aon is looking for a Vice President, Portfolio Management, IP Advantage Fund
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting the IP Advantage Fund in New York, NY, Chicago, IL, San Francisco, CA, or Washington, DC. As an VP, you will report directly to the Portfolio Manager.
Job Responsibilities
Assist Portfolio Manager in establishing effective and well-organized investment processes
Assist with managing and maintaining relationship with third party investors in the IP Advantage Fund
Drive evaluation and execution of opportunities for IP backed debt transactions
Perform regular monitoring of Aon’s IP Advantage Fund loan portfolio
Continually identify opportunities to improve and streamline investment processes
Identify, develop, and cultivate prospects for Aon’s IP back debt transaction solutions
Able to influence outcomes beyond the scope of their individual function.
Educate network with thought leadership regarding IP backed debt transactions
Manage a team of Associates and Analysts who are evaluating opportunities to execute IP backed debt transactions
Required Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in credit investment, debt capital markets or corporate finance background. Demonstrated track record of success in credit investment and management investment banking, and/or other capacity as an I-Banker, banker, or consultant Ability to support M&A and other advisory transaction dialogue and activity Strong negotiation skills Strong research and financial analysis skill set Ability to lead a team
Education / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree CFA or formal banking training program a plus MBA a plus, but not required
