Job Description

Busy three doctor practice nestled close to Lake Ivanhoe Park and Downtown Orlando looking for a Team Member with two roles. Our goal is to provide pets with exceptional care in all aspects of our being: Client Service, Medicine, Surgical Procedures, Daytime Emergency Care, and Boarding. We strive for Fear Free animal handling, and we continue to incorporate low-stress techniques as we educate our employees.

We have a need for someone that has Reception/Client Service Representative skills for 2 days a week, and that has Vet Assistant Skills (or willing to learn them) for 2 other days a week.

1 year experience as a Veterinary Receptionist Required!

All applicants should have professional communication skills with clients, coworkers, superiors; high work ethic, and positive attitude. Applicants should also have good emotional awareness, problem solving skills, and can keep a clean/organized workspace. Need extended hours when needed and rotational Saturday morning shifts.

Necessary Abilities Include:

  • Arrive on time and ready to work
  • Exceptional Client Service – in person and over phone
  • Maintain File Integrity, on paper and in computer
  • Knowledgeable on the difference between Emergencies and Non-Emergencies
  • Ability to utilize our Software to manage daily appointments, Prescription Refills, and Client Reminders
  • Keep lobby area clean, hazard free, and functioning
  • Be able to take constructive criticism as needed to run more efficiently/professionally
  • Work extended hours when business needs call for it, work rotational Saturdays
