Village Veterinary Clinic is a small animal practice that focuses on building great relationships with our clients and each other. Our client care team is the face of our practice so professional actions, good manners and professional appearance are important. The job involves answering incoming calls and encouraging clients to come for pet care, taking messages for the medical team, selling products over the counter and collecting payments. You will have contact with our patients (but that is fun)! The team makes appointments and must learn or know about quality pet medical care and schedule appropriately. They are able to handle pet emergency calls and work with clients who are on occasion stressed. Cleaning the work area and occasional pet accidents are part of the job.

Successful candidates will exhibit a sunny disposition, willingness to go the extra mile to serve our clients, be efficient with workflow and be able to handle multiple tasks without getting flustered. We have a great culture and fit is more important than experience.

The practice is not open on weekends and the hours for this position are typically 7am to 5 pm four days a week. Benefits include a pet care discount, 401K, paid time off. Pay range depends on experience. $14 - $15 per hour average.
