Veterinary Receptionist/ CSR

We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist for our busy small animal practice located inside the Dunwoody Village. At Animal Hospital of Dunwoody Village, our goal has been to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary health care. The receptionist is the first voice and face the client will see, so a positive attitude and professionalism is a MUST. You must be dependable, self motivated, pay attention to detail, work well in a team setting as well as independently, and take pride in your work. Experience is a plus, but will hire based on a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities of this position will include:

- Receiving and placing phone calls to the clients for the purpose of scheduling, confirming appointments, and additional client communication and education.

- Greeting/ checking in appointments and patients by communicating thoroughly with the client and following hospital procedures.

- Maintain proper documentation through client records and computer system.

- Assist all clients by providing necessary instructions, information and invoices, dispense prescription items per the veterinarian's instructions, and schedule all future appointments.

- Manage the financial needs of the hospital by maintaining accurate balances through collection of client transactions, follow all cash and credit card handling procedures, and follow proper opening and closing procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
