BluePearl North Seattle is hiring a Veterinary Assistant to join their busy and well-established Surgery Department. Join our team of professionals! We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to share their skills and compassion in a state-of-the-art facility located in North Seattle.

We are looking for a hard-working, motivated, enthusiastic, and friendly, team-player that can multitask and be flexible. Experience at a veterinary clinic is required for this opening. Applicants must have compassion for owners and their pets.

As a BluePearl Veterinary Assistant, you will:

  • Compassionately, calmly, and gently approach and handle patients
  • Administer oral, subcutaneous, and intravenous medications
  • Clean and sterilize surgical instruments
  • Provide supplemental heating or cooling per doctor orders
  • Appropriately restrain canine and/or feline patients
  • Provide patient updates to clients and participate in client visits with non-critical patients
  • Assist with patient discharge process
  • Participate in a minimum of five (5) internal or external continuing education credit hours annually, including annual OSHA training.
