The Receptionist is the client’s first contact when calling or visiting the practice and as such represents the professional image of the practice to callers and visitors. The receptionist answers telephones, greets clients, prepares patient files, receives and relays client correspondence, updates client financial records. The exceptional receptionist has the ability to diffuse negative client situations and foster client bonding.

Schedule: Full-time. Must be available to work Saturdays


Job Description
  • Maintaining medical records.
  • Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients, including cleaning of surgical suites, patient rooms, and general/common areas.
  • Filling prescriptions.
  • Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
  • Comfortable with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. Ability to restrain appropriately & safely (when necessary) fractious pets.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to think clearly and multitask in a busy environment.
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately.
  • Team player who thrives on supporting the team in every way
  • Make educated recommendations to our clients and providing exceptional customer service

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional appearance required; scrubs are always to be worn.
  • Must be 18 years or older
