Veterinarian Rehabilitation Nurse Technician

Coral Springs Animal Hospital is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Certified Canine Rehabilitation Veterinary Nurse (CCRVN) to join our growing Physical Rehabilitation Department. We offer the following modalities in order to rehabilitate patients under the care of the overseeing veterinarian: laser therapy, TUS, shockwave therapy, PEMF, cryotherapy, manual therapy, acupuncture, Chinese herbs, full equipment for therapeutic exercises, land treadmill, and underwater treadmill.

Education and Experience Required/Preferred: CVT, LVT, RVT, CCRVN, CCRP, VMRT (or applicants currently going through a certified canine rehabilitation program)

-Knowledge and experience in sedation and anesthesia are required to monitor patients for MRI's, CT's, radiographs, and minor procedures.

-Knowledge and understanding of common injuries whether orthopedic and/or neurologic disease processes and injuries. Manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises and when to advance a patient through treatment plans, understands and operates modalities and equipment.

-Experience handling exotics and wildlife is preferred, but not required.

We are a very large and fast paced referral Hospital, so we are looking for a candidate that is efficient in time management, adheres to protocols, hospital policies, and procedures. You will need to utilize exceptional communication skills with doctors, support staff, pet owners, and referring Veterinarians, in order to educate and effectively communicate the treatment plans put in place by our Veterinarian.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
