Chimacum Valley Veterinary Hospital Seeks a Full or Part-time Small Animal Veterinarian:

Like doing surgery or dentistry? Great, we love that too. Is surgery or dentistry not your thing?. No problem, feel free to bring that which you are passionate about.

We have 7 doctors practicing currently and we are growing. AAHA-accredited, Cat Friendly, and we practice fear-free. We have a low staff turnover (almost non-existent), LVTs, and highly skilled assistants (2-3 techs per DVM each day). We have fun and enjoy coming to work and we maintain healthy work culture.

The facility is ready with all the equipment you might need to practice great medicine… which is our whole gig. Toys include – new ultrasound machine and digital DR rads (w/ radiologist telemedicine), class-4 therapy lasers, full in house lab, surgical electrocautery (Bovie and a Ligasure), and a super well equipped dental suite (just added a Vet-Tome)

No on-call nights (local ER is used), 4 day work week (for FT), one of which is procedures-only day (assuming you like that). There’s always other DVM’s on the floor and available to help and discuss urgent cases and generally collaborate. We also have a slant towards integrative medicine often using eastern and western approaches as they most appropriately fit our cases.

We have a mentoring program that has been highly successful in transitioning new graduates into confident and capable clinicians. Busy family life? – customizable schedule or part-time, just ask!

Salary Range: $90,000 - 125,000+

• Flexible pay package (strait salary, Pro-Sal or pure production)
