Job Description
Position Summary: The Vendor Compliance Associate will be responsible for entering and maintaining data and records pertaining to vendor compliance and ensuring adherence to quality standards. The incumbent will gain an overall understanding of the operations within the Casella Resource Solutions team and how vendor compliance is incorporated within various business units.Key Responsibilities:
Excellent listening, communication, prioritization, time management and problem-solving skills are required. - Gains a thorough understanding of the vendor management workflow process from on boarding to payment to ensure all procedures are followed and processes are completed timely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Provides assistance to resource solutions team members with vendor compliance processing to ensure all documentation is received, electronically stored, catalogued, updated, and payments are made in a timely matter.
- Develops, and maintains, a thorough understanding of company-specific software systems as they relate to vendor management including but limited to Coupa, NetSuite, SoftPak and Core.
- Communicates with vendors, internally with the accounting team, and across other departments to ensure client and company needs are met.
- Employs a keen attention to detail and accuracy in processing data entries and providing accurately detailed records to assist in auditing compliance records and verifying compliance requirements are met.
- Reviews information systems data to ensure all electronic documentation (COI, COD, vendor agreements and renewals), department database, and company share drives are updated to support all compliance requirements.
- Creates project schedules and incorporates shared dependencies and deliverables with interdepartmental cross functional team members to ensure priorities are addressed and all vendor management requirements are met.
- Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values.
