Vending Route Driver

CRH Catering Co. seeking a self-motivated, ambitious, responsible person to transport product and stock items upon delivery in the Verona,Lynchburg VA area. Vehicle will be provided.

We are currently hiring for a Local Route Driver for Vending Services. A company vehicle is provided: CDL is not required. Come and join our team! The Route Driver position is responsible for providing services at established accounts on local routes. Stock fresh foods, snacks and beverages at Micro Markets and Vending Machines. We strive for the best customer experience for all of our great customers. Most work schedules are Monday - Friday! Requirements include: Lifting, bending, walking, driving, and climbing stairs, able to lift 40 lbs

Additional responsibilities include customer service, completing/submitting delivery paperwork, ordering, and ensuring the delivery truck is maintained.

Must be able to clear a pre-employment Background Check. Only Untarnished Backgrounds will be considered. Must also have a valid driver’s license (0+ points preferred), willing to submit to random drug testing, and able to lift 50lbs frequently. The hours of business operations is Mon-Fri, 7am to 4:30pm, but flexibility is granted once training is completed.

A typical day is about 8 hours long, depending on traffic, efficiency, and work performance.

This will be considered a full-time position and the employee will be eligible for benefits (medical/dental/401k/etc) after a 90-day probationary period. One-week vacation is granted after the first year of employment.

Starting pay is $675 a week/$135 a day plus commission. This rate is negotiable based upon experience.
