SCHEDULE: Full-time
West Valley Medical Center is looking for an experienced Vascular Technologist to join their growing department!The Vascular Technologist will, under general direction of department leadership, perform various clinical and clerical duties for department head and the department as needed. Main duties will be to perform non-invasive peripheral vascular testing to evaluate the hemodynamics of arterial, venous and/or cerebrovascular circulation by utilizing Doppler ultrasound, plethysmography, duplex imaging and sound spectrum analysis according to policy and procedure.

Qualifications

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
  • Current Registered Vascular Technologist or obtain within one year of date of hire
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support or obtain within 7 days of date of hire

EXPERIENCE:
  • One year clinical experience in vascular sonography
SKILLS:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with department leadership, staff member and physicians.
