Below is a general description of the position.
CITY CARRIER ASSISTANT (CCA) – $18.51/Hr. Medical benefits available. CCAs work alongside our city carriers. A typical day for a CCA is sorting mail in the morning and deliver during the day. CCA’s will sometimes cover a route for a carrier who is on vacation or they may deliver small portions of numerous routes. You will be out in the elements year round, sun, rain, snow and ice. This is a great job for someone who enjoys being outdoors. This position is flexible and CCA’s are scheduled as needed. You will work on weekends and holidays. You will be assigned to the office you apply for but you may be required to travel to nearby offices to deliver mail. CCAs must be available as needed.
