Job Order Hourly rate of pay: $25.00 (Based on education and/or years of related work experience indicated on application)

This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health & Human Services - DIRM. Employees will build and configure computer for use. Process hardware requests and prepare the packages for shipment. Assist computer recipients with any issues related for setting up the computer for initial use. Provide ongoing support for hardware deployed to tracers. Process requests for hardware returns. Maintain proper records for shipments and hardware. For returned equipment, the unit must be DOD wiped and prepared for redeployment.

  • Considerable knowledge as demonstrated by an understanding and use of the principles, theories and practices pertinent to area of responsibility

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or engineering or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in the information technology field related to the position's role; or

Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in the information technology field related to the position's role; or; an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Associate's degree in computer information technology, computer technology Integration, networking technology, or related area and two years of experience in the information technology field related to the position's role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
