About the TeamOur team carries out user research for usability testing, focus groups, surveys and ethnographies to get a better understanding of what our users want. We have a great need for surveys that come from all departments such as original content, events, marketing, brand etc. We are a team that can combine user research and other data to build a more complete picture of customers. We are fast paced, analytical, detailed and fun. Learning about our customers wants and needs is very important for building great products.
Please note that this is a 6 month contract position.
Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring StatusCrunchyroll employees are currently working from home and we are still conducting remote interviews and hiring during this time. This role is expected to start remotely and we'll work closely with you as we understand every person has unique circumstances.

About You:- Strong organizational skill and attention to detail
- Outstanding interpersonal, collaboration, communication and note taking skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Natural curiosity to improve process and enjoy problem solving
- Copyediting or proofreading skills (required)
- Graphic design skills (for crafting research results decks)
- Comfortable with learning and helping resolve issues with new softwares/tools/or recording equipment
- Previous experience or coursework in User Research
- Interest in anime, pop culture, animation, video games, tech and geekdom
- Analytical skills
- Experience with data visualization and presentations (Using Excel or Google Sheets and Data Studio)
- Experience creating online surveys
- Foreign language skills
- Experience working in Jira and Agile environments
- Project planning experience
- Work closely with various cross-functional teams to improve existing processes and programs
- Coordinates research logistics including recruiting, incentives and materials
- Consents test participants and maintains detailed research records
- Manages research drive, including uploading documents like consent forms
- Schedules meetings, updates research team calendar and webpage
- Tracks software licenses, contracts, and vendors
- Assist with travel arrangements and logistics
- Runs agile meetings and research ticket backlog grooming sessions
- Leads payments for subjects and vendors
- Updates multiple databases, including helping the team build a searchable database of research insights
- Participates in some research meetings and takes/synthesizes notes
- Proactively suggest ways to improve research systems
