TikTok's User Operations team ensures we're delivering on our mission through all of our user-facing communication efforts, helping establish TikTok as our users’ favorite daily experience. We're looking for a highly organized, independent Designer to execute our user communications strategy.

The Designer will work with our User Communications Email Strategy & Operations Manager to create original designs and templates for our creator newsletters. You must be capable of sorting through many competing priorities, defining processes, executing with precision, and succeeding in a complex and fast paced environment. This role will liaise with the Content Partnerships, Marketing, Tools and Reporting, Content Programming and Product Operations teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop original dynamic and responsive templates to support both one-off and lifecycle campaigns
  • Make recommendations to improve and optimize our communications through optimized content, using insights and data
  • Directly manage day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of issues
  • Work with Email Strategy & Operations Manager to learn and apply best practices
Qualifications
  • 4-year degree in graphic design or related field
  • 4-year degree in graphic design or related field
  • 2+ years work experience as a graphic designer or related position and experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite & Figma
  • Solid understanding of creative excellence and best in class tactics by channel
  • Excellent typographic skills; Video and motion graphic skills are a plus
  • Understanding of design elements: color, composition as well as sensitivity to aesthetic and seasonal trends
  • Ability to flex across a broad range of creative styles
  • Proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, and managing multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail
  • Team player, ability to engage on all levels of the organization
  • Passionate about entertainment and digital content; Knowledge of the media landscape and major trends in the industry
  • Solid understanding of the TikTok user experience
