Used Car Technician - Performance Select Cars

Overview: Performance Select Cars is an Up-Scale Pre-Owned Automotive Dealership located in Covington, KY, where people can purchase a quality used vehicle. To offer the highest quality pre-owned vehicles, we are seeking an Experienced Used Car Mechanic.

• 
  Up to $25.00 Per Hour (experience based)
• This Position is Full-Time (40 Hours a Week)

As a Used Car Mechanic, you will be diagnosing and repairing domestic and foreign vehicles. Repairs will range from basic to advanced skills based on your level of experience. Ideal candidates should work well in a team environment, provide outstanding customer service, and follow workplace cleanliness, organization, and process standards.

Responsibilities:Used Car Mechanic:

• Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing
• Provide Manager with detailed estimates for repairs and replacements
• Repair vehicles based on diagnosed issues and repair estimate
• Test Drive Vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and determine whether any other problems exist
• File appropriate documentation on every repair

Qualifications:Used Car Mechanic:

• High school diploma/GED required
• ASE certifications preferred but not required
• 3+ years of automotive repair experience
  
• Knowledge of tools and equipment required to preform all repairs
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools required
  
• Valid Driver's license with good driving record
  
• Substance screening is required of all Performance Select employees
